Experience Matters
I graduated Musicians Institute in 2000 and started my career creating sample CDs for Chronic Music and editing music for production music libraries such as Killer Edge and MegaTrax.
In 2003 I started doing production work for several ClearChannel radio stations in Los Angeles (including KISS fm and Hot 92.3) and soon after went to work for the newly formed Indie 103.1 FM. A radio station Rolling Stone Magazine named "the nations best radio station". Working along side such music legends as Steve Jones, Henry Rollins, Rob Zombie, and Dave Navaro, I served as Promotions Director over a coarse of two years while also engineering remote broadcasts, handling ISDN patches and filling in as board op for several radio shows, including Jonesy's Juke Box, The Chemical Brothers Radio, and Camp Freddy Radio.
I left radio to work for music producer Bruce Robb at Cherokee Studies. There I assisted Bruce with the formation of a new independent record label, Quarter2Three Music.
For the next 6+ years I worked extensively in Live Sound, doing FOH for many local and national touring bands. That led to me designing and installing sound systems for several bars, clubs, and commercial facilities.
Now living in Portland, I primarily record and mix music for local and national bands. But I continue to write music for Production Libraries, with over 130 tracks in rotation to date. I also work with a network of other Producers and Songwriters at creating original music, both for Film/TV and for signed artists.
